I didn’t grow up a runner. In fact, my first “run” ended after barely half a mile — out of breath and a little embarrassed. But I kept showing up, and over time, something changed. I became stronger, more confident, and even started to look forward to running.

What Helped Me Get There:

  • Start slow – I used a run/walk method with small weekly goals
  • Track progress – Apps like Garmin + Strava helped me stay consistent
  • Ignore perfection – I missed days, had slow runs, and that was okay
  • Celebrate small wins – Finishing 1 mile felt just as good as finishing 13.1
  • Add the right supplements – One major turning point for me was adding creatine to my routine. I used to think creatine was only for bodybuilders, but I was wrong! It improved my recovery, strength, and endurance — especially during tough training weeks. I personally use Prozis Creatine Monohydrate, and it made a big difference in how energized I felt during long runs and strength days.

Encouragement:
You don’t need to be fast or fancy. You just need to begin. Even 5 minutes counts. If I can go from 0.5 miles to 13.1, you can take your next step too.
